1st John 1: 8
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
If you actually
believe that you have no sin, the only person you are fooling is yourself and
the truth of the Word of God is not in you. You don’t have a relationship with
God through His Son Jesus Christ and you are not a part of the family of God.
There are a lot
of good people in this world who are doing a lot of good things, but there is
not one person on this earth is that is sin free. Why?
When Adam sinned in the Garden of Eden, all who came through him inherited his sinful gene. No matter who you are or where you are from you can trace your roots to the Garden of Eden, to the ancestors of all mankind, Adam and Eve and therefore, we are all sinners.
Romans
3: 23
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
We inherited a
sinful nature but we don’t have to hold on to that nature. We can actually
give up that sinful nature and create a whole new spiritual nature in Jesus
Christ.
2nd
Corinthians 5: 17
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed
away, behold all things are become new.
Observation
If you don’t like who you are right now, why not invite Jesus Christ into your heart and allow Him to make everything new?
A Prayer to Receive Salvation
Dear God, I
confess that I am a sinner. I believe that Your Son Jesus Christ died for my
sins. I ask Your forgiveness of my sins and accept Your Son into my life as my
personal Lord and Saviour. I believe that You raised Him from the dead and
because of this; I know that I can live a victorious new life in Christ. Thank
You for my salvation.
Now
complete the process of salvation by being baptized.
Acts
2: 38
..Repent and be baptized … in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of
your sins….
